In a large collection from this week. It is better in person! Wish I could get a good good photo. My best effort. Heading out to PCGS tomorrow.

looks MS to me. Too bad about the less than attractive eye appeal.

indeed :( I am an auctioneer, and I visited a client to help her sell a large number of inherited items. She had a big box of coins, a large amount of silver coins etc etc, and this coin stuck in a Washington quarter album. She had taken the whole load to a local coin dealer, who offered her $800 for everything. She said it just didn't feel right to sell all the coins at that price.

I'm going to go XF45 - there seems to be wear on Liberty's legs. And there is a rim problem from midnight to 2:30...
But there's also no wear on the ear and I could probably be convinced to go AU53

That coin could easily be MS.

MS...most likely. I just wonder of the preservation process included the Le Brea tarpit.

I'd say its uncirculated but PCGS might nail it for environmental woes. I am going to be very curious to see what they give it. Perhaps MS61.

Off to PCGS with this morning's mail. Yes - it's going to be close on environmental damage. Crossing my fingers. I have to say the obverse of these '53 coins is amazing!

That has to be at least high AU.

A beauty, I'm thinking AU-58 on this one. Might be MS but hard to tell from photos.

I'm going with MS, but worried it will get detailed as well.

Love the rays...I need one for my collection. This actually isn't that bad. The eye appeal may knock it down a peg but overall it has nice detail and you can still see the luster peeking through. I think shes low MS. Not sure if it get details but my guess is it would grade clean.

I think it is MS; probably MS-61 or 62.

AU-58, but if it's UNC, an easy 63.
