It appears that only one side is affected. So I would rule out Dryer Coin. But damage is damage. Never a good thing.

I agree coop, worth one cent. If it were a Dryer Coin I was going to keep it as an example/conversation piece.

Not a Dryer Coin. Both sides are damaged,PSD.

The things that have me puzzled about this coin are the obverse rims. The rim to the NE and the opposite rim to the SW both are folded inward toward the center of the coin. If the damage occurred from a single blow to the coin the rim damage would be in one direction. Also the damage to the devices seems to be worn in ...almost polished. Seems to have happened over a period of time. Maybe not in a dryer, but it appears to me like it has been stuck in some sort of moving machinery of some sort.

I've found coins that look similar to so, some I kept for months and then realized they were PMD in the end, this could be one of them you never know.

No idea how this occurs, but I'm certain it's PMD.
