It is a Retained Cud. I would like to put it on cuds-on-coins.

Looks like a rim-to-rim die crack to me. Nice find! It doesn't seen to go through the rim so it's not a Retained Cud but close.

Ken , the circulation wear pattern of the rim above the word GOD seems to indicate a horizontal movement of the die at that point. That should classify it as a Retained Cud should it not

BJ, I would be tickled to have it on your site. Let me know if you need anything. Thanks to everyone for looking.

There seems to be a difference of opinion between the pros on this one. BJ you say it's a Cud, Ken you say it's a crack. Ken if you would please answer Stoneman's question I would probably at least know how to label it.

Actually, I said it was a Retained Cud because it does appear that the crack does enter into the rim, especially over the O of GOD. If you would, please use the contact form on cuds-on-coins.com and I'll get back to you. BJ Neff
