Have you checked if your Iranian 5 Rial has had a die clash? I have a few Iranian coins, and I do believe this type as well, with clashed dies.

Could not see a clash, the fields are very clear still. Still, silver's always great

Super finds again I always check your post on Monday mornings first thing I look at. I would have to say you have gotten me back into world coins again. I mainly collect year runs of all WW for birth years for my wife, son, grandkids and myself.

Lovely to hear

I can't find the other side of the 5 Ore 1963 big one. Happens to be my favorite catch of the day along with the 1978 Austria 10 Schilling.
Nobody likes to hear the sound of breaking glass.

I omitted the other side of those coins since they go under the category "uninteresting" to me, typically coins that come along with lots I buy whole. Naturally, these coins could actually be exotic for some (who'd have known?). Since they're so common here I've even sent some of these off to the scrappers. Not only are they heavy, they are that abundant here.

Anyway, here's the other side:

(just like the other coin in that image two steps to the right which happens to be a 1 Öre)

Thanks for the pic. I actually like that 5 Ore coin. To each his/her own I guess.

A big lot for very little money. And a lot of coins which still are valid or still can be exchanged for current money. And the weather was similar here. The advantage is that I don't have to remove leaves from my terrace, as mother nature helped a bit.

My meeting in Stockholm (basically just 2 km from Høtorget) in December is planned to be on a Wednesday and Thursday, so no luck in getting there for the market. I will keep trying though.

Nice pickups on a typical fall day, I don't see coins like that at our flea markets around here in the Midwest of the USA.

Andreas, a nice pile of coins you picked up.
I wish they had markets like that here.

Sadly nothing new to report on today. We had to take one of our cats to the vet quite abruptly early on and had to spend today's market time there instead. Don't worry, the cat's OK

I did end up going to the market on the afternoon instead but I still didn't find anything (for reasonable prices). Plenty of tables still. Guess there can't be anything every day. Either that or someone else got there before me

Great...

Thanks for showing the coins... For about $10 US, you sure got a lot of coins.

If you keep this up, you will have 1000's of coins in no time, but more importantly, you will have tons of fun
Rest in Peace

Happy to know that the cat is all right.

I hope you have better luck with the coins next week -- and I hope the weather stays reasonable.
