I hope you have better luck next week. This time of the year, I prefer snow over rain. But then I don't drive around very much.

Good luck next weekend, X2an! I am sorry about your previous weekend.
Have you heard anything about that gold medal from Volkswagen?
Hope they have an interesting information for us to learn from. :)

X2an,
I am so sorry that you did not get any response to your enquires. Perhaps they are trying to find someone who could take your enquiries on? Sometimes it will take some time before they find a right person that could answer your e-mails?
BUT it was and still is very kind of you to say that we, CCF folks, are of some help with your search for the information on this particular gold medal. :))
Looking forward to your next success at the market this Sunday!!

Instead of emails, you should perhaps send a ''real'' letter (including a photo of the medal) to the VW pr-department using the postal service. Also, use actual swedish stamps (they are still issued in Sweden, aren't they?) and not these electronic labels. Make your letter stick out from the heap. A ''real'' letter might get more attention and thus a response from the pr folks who probably have a lot to do because of diesel-gate. Anyways, good luck and keep us posted.

Not a bad idea, redlock.

I second redlock's good idea about writing an actual letter. It may entice their attention to your enquiry about the gold medal. Better if you could attach the photos if you can?
I am sure they will be very helpful once they read your letter with much interest.
Please keep us posted on this gold medal, X2an!
PS I think it is a cool idea to use actual stamps. :) Would you like my Swedish stamps that are not postmarked (think the correct word is franked?)? To keep your mailing cost down? :)

I will try once more with an email, but if that fails, a letter it will be (who doesn't use their local stamps on regular letters?). Though admittingly it is interesting how you can still use old stamps with very small face values to mail a letter, it looks hilarious when you get a package coated with low-value stamps! I came way too late to today's market after a train ride, so when I arrived it was snowing and people were packing. So no real surprise nothing could be found. Let's aim for next week

Sorry to learn that you had another week without any new coins to add to your collection.
Better weather is not far away, I hope.

Sorry about this Sunday's market being snowed in. Hopefully, next Sunday would be much better! I will cheer you on!
No worries about the stamps. Just asking if you would like them. Glad to see that postage is still reasonable.
Another suggestion for you would be to write in English, not in Swedish. I think that would facilitate the communication much easier?
Looking forward to when you have heard from Volkswagen.

Naturally all foreign communication I do online is English I could try Spanish, Italian or Norwegian, but I'd make a fool of myself Today it was snowing again, albeit less. A few nice pickups since there was a new delivery today! 1 Peso, Argentina series 1897 20 Kronor, Sweden 2007 25 Paisa, Nepal (2032) 1 Rand, South Africa 2007 20 Pence, UK 1985 20 Cents, New Zealand 2008 1 Markka, Finland 1964 For 20 kr. The old 20 kr note can still be exchanged - if you decide pay a fee of 100 kr per shipment. I suppose this is a start of yet another accumulation - as if I didn't have enough foreign currency already

That 1897 Peso is interesting. Old worn money always makes me wonder about where it has been and what it was used to buy. I see that Charlotte Kalla will be bringing some gold home with her. She's amazing.
