I'm wondering how much this scratch will affect the value of this 1925 Australian Penny?
Thanks

There's also a rim ding at 9 o'clock... that also impacts the value.

To accurately assess the coin, we need a photo of the other side.

I too say what is the other side like? If really nice, small scratches like that could or may be just slightly over looked. And too, so much may depend on how YOU feel about a scratch. If that is your coin, I'd never worry about that. However, for cost basis, many, many people would deduct a good amount for that. But if not selling, who cares?

This is a scarce date and have seen a lot worse being sold for around $80-$100 over the years. Yes it would affect the value but if the obverse is ok the damage is only minor. This, of course, would not apply to a common date which would be tossed in the bin.
