http://www.ebay.com/usr/gncoin?_trk...047675.l2559I am wondering if anyone here has done business with this seller and if so how was the coin in hand when received. There is nothing I can realy put my finger on. Nothing scary in the feedback... The thing that gets me is the color of the coins always seems just a little wrong. Okay I know the monitor on the cumputer at work is a complete piece of antiquated equipment and my personal laptop is far from state of the art, but... Or am I just being an ornery old bat? Anyway thatnks for the input

They may have photoshopped the image to show the texture and that may have altered the color slightly. The photos do look very crisp but almost grainey. It might just be an effect. I would go by the reviews from buyers who seem to be buying lots of coins from multiple sellers. That might give you a good basis before testing the waters.

Thanks Mayflower. When it comes down to it I am still just an anolog girl in a digital world. I would rather pay cash than a debit card and much rather hold what I am paying for rather than looking at a picture of it.

I have had several transactions with GN without any issue. Everything received was just fine.

I bought a cent from him a while back and didn't have any issues. And you can return something if you are not happy once it arrives. Good Luck!

I never buy STUFF on the internet. IF you do and it's OK, then that is that. I never heard of this person and mostly due to not buying off the internet.

Unlike just carl, I buy a lot of stuff on the Internet. But one rule I have found is that if your instincts are telling you something is off, follow your gut and move on to something else. It may be fine, but there are a million coins out there and when you see one that feels and looks 100% right, you greatly increase your chances of being happy with it. The only times I buy when I am not feeling very sure is when I think I could be getting a screaming bargain on a coin. Then it is worth taking a chance; otherwise, no.

Whenever I buy online I just assume that the coin isn't as good as it appears. If it is listed as one grade I won't buy it unless it is a good price for a few grades lower. That way if it isn't as good as described at least I feel I still got a good deal.

I wouldn't trust this guy simply because he has 6666 items listed.

Id feel safe buying from him. 600 plus feedbacks in a month and no negative or neutral feedbacks. Only 1 negative in the past year.
