This is a recent addition to my collection. I love the wood grain! I would appreciate your ideas as to grade and also any other thoughts or comments.

Nice off center strike on the reverse. I am always interested in copper that has a woody effect on one side but not the other. Can the copper composition be that different from obverse to reverse?

EAC Grade - EF40

Some Verdi-Care might help conserve this coin better for the long term, and remove a bit of the green verdigris I'm seeing, a super coin, looks like a LDS.

Thanks for your responses, everyone! This is most helpful! I was working on a grade of EF-40 net 35 for this one. Perhaps I need to rethink that!

I hope that it will be all right for me to offer some additional coins for grading...this is a really good exercise for me!
