Because I don't have the earlier Dansco album which does not include this variety, and because I do not consider it part of the set I decided to fill this hole with a modern Hobo "skull" nickel that I've had for a while. I think it looks good and stands out pretty well. Not sure why I didn't think of doing this until now.

I may buy another one at some point to put in the "3 Legged" hole. Good excuse to get another one.

I happen to like hobo nickels. I don't own any because they are too expensive.
Good hole filler though.

We need to send that picture to Provident metals to give them an idea for a future Zombucks!

Looks great for a hole filler. Always tough when Dansco or some company decides what should be included in the folder/album.

I have one real one in one of my Albums. But the cost of such an error coin is just dumb. Sure wish someone could get hold of people in those companies that make Albums and tell them to make Albums for only real coins. Ever try to fill a Lincoln Cent Album when you need a 22 plain or 55 Doubled Die? And a Buffalo nickel of 1918D/7 thing is really just not right.

I agree with you 100%, just carl. I don't understand why they would add this slot. To tell you the truth, I don't want the 3 Legged hole in there either.

And here it is!

This thing looks great in the Dansco. I love these skull nickels.
