I don't know, hard to tell, the pictures are in different lighting. The reverse looks cleaned to me. If you look around the high points such as in god we trust on the reverse, you see tarnish, it is darker. Hope this helps.

I would pass. common date and does have the looks of a cleaned coin. that being said I have customers buying any morgans above ef for $25.00 each. so you cant get hurt. Watch ebay set it for Morgan dollar, ending soonest, auction late at night and you'll be surprised what a common date slabbed unc Morgan can be had for. Hope this helps

MS details cleaned. Pass all day, very common coin and very attainable in grades up to 66.

At most you might have overpaid by a whole $5. If you've learned a bit from all the responses to your query then I'd say the $5 was well spent for the knowledge gained.

$30 isn't horrible, especially if it helps you make better purchases down the road. This coin has been cleaned and you will have a hard time reselling as most collectors won't touch cleaned/polished coins.

Learn and move on.

Go buy a PCGS or NGC graded MS64 Morgan and compare it to yours and you will see why yours is cleaned.
