Bought this little puppy today. It was busted free from a PCGS holder. I took the pictures in the shop. I'll try to get better pics later. For now, any info and opinions and discussion would be greatly appreciated. Also, comments on what a fair price would be on this coin? Thanks again fellows and fellowetts!

F details, but still a solid coin.
Do you know what the PCGS grade is?

Yes. I saw the grade but want to hear what everyone says before I reveal it. I don't have proof though. I just saw it. I may be able to get the tag.

Heads of 94 have the strongest hair definition of the liberty cap cents. My grade is VG10..PCGS maybe gave it an F12.

whatever the grade in mine eye it is perfect. That girl did the work she was made to do, and did it very well.
You should be very happy with that coin. How can you not hold such a coin and not hear the hear the murmur of history, the smile of a barmaid who received it as a tip,the nod of the butcher as he gave it in change to Widow Smith who lost her husband at the battle of Cow pens.
A mere cent struck on a less than perfect planchet by a cracked die soon to give out, handled imperfectly and at times treasured, forgotten, lost, found, spent and saved. Many call it details.
I call it perfect. A perfect piece of history a beautiful lady such as most of us will never possess.
Congratulations on buying an absolutely perfect coin.

This is a really nice 94. I like the eye appeal on it and would put in my collection any day of the week. Strong details good strike and even wear. I think she makes VF20 details

Your coin is an S-70....Go to Goldbergs Auction site and look up the Dan Holmes sale from Sept 6 2009 and look at Lot#112 and check your coin with his coin. You will see why I graded it VG10...Your coin is very nice but it is what it is. I don't know where the folks on this site are giving VF grades but it is definitely not.
