It appears I got a good deal, it books between $1750-1875 in ms65. It has some gorgeous toning. I can't seem to figure out posting pics or I would. My pics are to large from my smartphone, when I try to downsize them, no luck.
Anyway, I'm fired up for this purchase!

Yes, yes, pics are a requisite I hope it's a top 2 SLABBED coin and not a dealer or ebayers scribbling on a 2x2

It has been graded by anacs, the oldest grader of coins. According to some, they grade stricter than the other big two. It very well could be ms66, it's very nice. I'll try to get pics up when I get it in the mail.

With anacs it's possible for an upgrade but more than likely it's a crapshoot as to weather it would even stay at 65 if crossed to the big 2. Take some good pics when you get it and we'll ccf grade her first

Old-style ANACS holders are rather conservatively graded, and the newer ANACS is the only TPG I advise folks to send Morgans to. This could be good. It also helps to explain the price.

Thanks guys! I'm just hoping it's as nice as it looks, definitely appears to have been graded some years ago by the pictures. The seller had positive reviews under his handle on ebay. I don't know why it didn't go for way more...I was actually prepared to pay $1300 to be perfectly honest.

I think I found the coin. is it this one? 371412763014My only concern is that the coin was sold 2 weeks prior, and the winning bidder also paid right at the auction end. No feedback was left from the buyer It does not mean anything, maybe the other buyer did not like it in hand. It sold for $915. the first time. The seller has a no hassle return policy and his feedback looks good. Just food for thought if this IS the same coin.

If RK55's link is the coin, I think 65 is probably the ceiling for it. It looks (from mint mark configuration and position only; can't see the other pickups) to be VAM-15. If that's true, I believe this will be the new Top Pop example of the VAM but it would require someone with access to the SSDC Registry to confirm. Info at VAMworld indicates the current finest is MS62 but I expect that information to be outdated now that the Registry has been running for a while.

Likely returned by the previous buyer, but who knows why?

I don't worry much about a return on ebay; buyer remorse is too prevalent. If it happens twice on one coin, though....
