My first thought was polished. Looking at his other lots there are a few more that look polished, too. But none of his silver dollars look cleaned, so maybe just terrible photos.

Highly polished. Not to mention the guy has other listings with cleaned coins. Probably does it himself. Shame.

The Peace dollar looks like a 1923 S and has some pitting on the reverse. The coins appear to be polished.

Possibly subjected to a buffing wheel. Let's hope this person never gets his hands on something really desirable.
