Weight should be 1.25oz = 39g. As the picture shows, these are only 23.5g or about 3/4oz.

Can you get a refund kuh85 ?
Get bobby131313 to see this thread, he'll have the item removed from ebay quite promptly.
All of the seller's coins are fakes.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

It's a shame how bad Chinese fakes have gotten.

@DBM - not sure yet. Takes a while to work through the process.... At least now we know why they're selling so cheap!
@CalzoneManiac - at least these ones are easy to detect

Ah the old saying .......with a twist " if it seems too good to be true it's a ............counterfeit."
Sometimes you just reap what you sew. I for one have no pity nor feel sorry for anyone who through greed or ignorance thinks there is a Santa in numismatics.
All you can do is complain to ebay. And stay away from guys selling coins in far away places with no creds.

While you guys are at it, report this seller too...

I would only buy SML bullion from sellers located in Canada. Stay away from sellers who are located in China especially. Double check the pictures too because it is pretty easy to tell the fakes from the real stuff.

That bison looks fake. Also, nowhere in the ad does it state real silver or .999, so that's your second warning. Always check feedback. He sold a copy to another unsuspecting victim.

This seller is located in Israel, so the Chinese aren't the only ones deceiving with fakes.

I strongly agree that we should buy only from reputable dealers in Canada. What a shame that it's come to this.

no way to buy bullion (specially) from somewhere and for low price.
Israel similar to US and Canada is very multy-cultural. People there came from different communities all over the world and have contacts everywhere....so even not surprising, that someone got "cheap coins" and want to make money on it.

Here is another one.
Not surprising coming from this seller.
Doesn't even say they are silver plated.
Note similarities in pictures to other sellers.

So many fakes on ebay but one cannot list pre-Castro Cuba coins (at least using the word Cuba)

For the price he is selling, they could be made of plastic.
And weight "near 31gr" mentioned by these kind of sellers doesn't say much.

Wonder where the crack RCM legal teams doing? As usual nothing on this issues, but creating license fee with Warners, and DC, to produce nonthemed Canadian coins.

So what's the point of introducing new security features and counterfeit detecting machines? Seems like a waste of money and time!

Similar to the software licensing or video / audio content copyright (every time new activation / protection algorithms developed).....do people ever think to buy this stuff or prefer to get it for cheap or for free?

The "new" security features wont be secure forever, its man made ,so it can and will be duplicated at some point if the desire is strong enough, that said, this bison coin is very poorly done even to the naked eye , but I guess it still can fool some people.
