Which is this--machine doubling or doubled die? CRH find. Thanks! The shadow part has shelf-like characteristics and not rounded doubling, so I vote machine doubled. Question--when there is Machine Doubling or Strike Doubling or Mechanical Doubling, does it typically appear only in one area of the coin? Or is the whole side "doubled" because of the, uh, die bounce? It doesn't seem that the die would bounce just in one spot. Report this Post to the Staff
