Strong AU 50, but it has so very few marks that this "grade" does not take that into consideration. Also, the fields are surprisingly unharmed and the color is smooth but does not appear to have been cleaned.
Unless you were going to MS grades I doubt you could find a nicer LC of this date.

Very nice. Obverse AU50. Reverse 53. Could go either way. I'll go with the obverse AU50

Looking forward to seeing some better photos of this one. Nice looking large cent you picked up here. My grade from these photos is AU53.

1852 N-6 (has all the diagnostics nicely visible!) 55 reverse, 50 obverse, net 53 ( TPG)
