I bought these 2 dimes from HJB, guess what they assign these 2 at? These images are from their website, but is gone now.

Mac, I've never graded Mercs really but would have to assume these are MS65 at least. I hardly notice a single flaw on either. Gorgeous examples of the earlier years.

Both appear MS 64-65 FSB. Absolutely beautiful coins.

I think I'm wrong, but I'm going to throw 66 FSB at both of them. Nice Coins.

I'd say the 1918 is MS64FB and the 1919 is MS64FB

64 split bands and 66 split bands. I'm working on mercs right now so I have to do a lot of grading on em.

The first one has the best split bands I've seen, 66

Lovely. Is what looks like disfiguring on the TE of STATES on both coins, that are diff years, something constant on this issue at this time?
