This 1850 Braided Hair large cent also has a nice pedigree through PCGS. It is attributed on the holder as a Newcomb N-12. How would you grade her, and why? Going to have this one CAC'ed next year. PCGS says MS63BN (ex Naftzger.) I wonder if this isn't a later die stage, because there is no sign of circulation wear, but less than a full strike. I need to take some good pictures when I get it in hand as I suspect the seller's slab photos don't exactly get the job done. For comparison, here is another N-12 in MS63BN that sold recently:

Ted Naftzger did have amazing high grade coins, I can't say this one is all it's cracked up to be by PCGS< though I'd have to see it in hand to be sure.

It does look like a very nice coin, I didn't want to guess a grade. it will be interesting to see your pictures, when you get the coin.
