I think I see just a hint of abrasion at the hair above the ear and also at the tip of the cap. The apparent shadowing around the legends and stars bothers me a bit. Still, if it doesn't "market grade" as MS, AU58 would seem to be a firm floor.

Agree with AU-58, slider MS. Lightly dipped at some point, in my opinion, but would wait on more experienced Morgan collectors to confirm or deny that.

Previous dip is almost certain, especially with the halo affect around the stars and details. Slight rub. I'd be at AU 58 with details for a light cleaning. Still very attractive and I can understand your enthusiasm.

You think it would get a details for the cleaning? I knew it was dipped before I took the photo, but the luster was perfect and I figured it wouldn't get a details grade

I swear this shouldn't get a details grade! Maybe this video will change your opinion:

AU details, wiped. You can see the concerning hairlines in question around the Eagles wings on the reverse. Your video shows nothing except cartwheel, you need to tilt the coin into light to see the hairlines, and you need to be a lot closer than you are.

Here is what I saw that made me believe the coin to be cleaned for a detail grade. The coin appears to have been improperly cleaned as on the obverse there are fine scratches behind the hair all going the same direction. On the reverse to the right of the wing there are fine scratches and the fine scratches continue around the star between the A and R. When I clicked on your video, it did not work.

I got the video to work. A coin can have cartwheel luster and still have a detail grade from being improperly cleaned.

Wiped/cleaned your photo shows it plain as day. Use a 2x or 3x glass under a incandescent light and slowly roll the coin, the light will strike the swipe marks and it will look like a plow went through there.
Sorry to break your bubble but it is what it is.
