I'm still learning to grade the EAC way now, I took the
ANA Summer Seminar grading courses basic, advanced (3 times) over the years, then at the last EAC convention in Irvine, TX I took their class. I learned so much at the EAC, not more than the
ANA advanced courses (which last a week) the EAC class was only a couple of hours, but I had just received and read the EAC grading guide and that helped along with some great guys to share thoughts with on each coin that was passed around, the instructors were also great.
EAC back issues of Penny Wise magazine has many articles on grading, but nothing can teach you better than sitting down with some experts and a bunch of old copper and just discussing them, wear, recoloring, counterfeits, etc.
