Hello everyone, I took a long break from the hobby after having my oldest daughter. I did occasionally checked the forum but wasn't ready to enter the hobby again till now. Recently I've had a strong urge to look at coins and visit the forum often so I think its time... I was working a quite a few sets but to start off I'm going focus on completing my Mercury dime set again. My oldest daughter is turning 7 next month and I want to get her interested in the hobby so I'm planning on gifting her a State Quarter folder to start her off and encourage her to look through change. I see lot of new members and hopefully I'll come across some of the familiar members too. Looking forward to becoming an active member again.

Yes, welcome back to the forum . it's good to get back into the hobby after a long break. I've done it myself and DO NOT regret it.

I like your avatar... I used to have a Yellow Labrador myself...

Welcome back.
I know how it is to take a break, I did the same when my kids were young.
How are you doing on your 7070?

I started taking my son to coin shows when he was about your daughters age. We had so much fun and the dealers were great with him and would sometimes give him some little coin for his collection. Time flies...he is now 27. I hope your daughter shares your enjoyment of your hobby

Thank you, it feels good to be back.
GR58: I haven't added anything to my 7070 for the longest time. Maybe I'll concentrate on the 7070 and the mercury set.

Howdy! I always thought your forum name was Spanish. Labrador Retrievers, eh? A joke for you: There are three Labrador Retrievers sitting in the Veterinarians waiting room. The Black Lab looks at the Yellow Lab and asks, "What are you here for?" The Yellow Lab replies, "Oh, I'm a pee-er, I'll pee on the floor, clean clothes, visitors, and anything else; I'm here to get fixed. What are you here for?" The Black Lab answers back, "I'm a pooper, I'll poop on your side of the bed, the bathroom floor, at the front door, anywhere but outside. I'm here to get fixed. They both look at the White Lab, and the Black Lab asks him, "What are you here for?" The White Lab responds, "I'm a humper, I'll hump the couch, your leg, a toy, just about everything. Last week my mistress got out of the shower and I jumped up and started humping on her while she dried her hair." The Yellow Lab asks, "So, are you here to get fixed, too?" "No, I'm here to get my nails clipped," states the White Lab. Hopefully I made that family friendly enough.

Parklane64 you're hillarious. Loved my yellow lab, he passed away last year at 13 years. According to my father Shatsi is German but written differently.
