Good catch! I agree with the grade, VF35 to EF40.

It's either high VF or low EF. Can't quite tell from the photos but it's right in that ball park, I'd say.

I am thinking VF-30. It might look better in hand, sellers photos not the best.

Nice. I'm looking for one also. Its a fence sitter at 40 IMO.

I too am considering expanding into early date coronet cents. This 1827 is a nice one and just the type and look I am looking for. Top on my list is an 1839/6 and a 1830 N-6 but if I see another date/variety I like, well...
They will not be easy to find.
