there is a 2 between the dark spot and the date just above and a little to the right of the 2 in 2010. its almost sideways.... is it just me or ?

It is what we call PMD/PST (Post Mint Damage/Post Strike Damage).

Looks like road kill or ended up in a food grinder in a kitchen sink. The "2" isn't really a 2 but a pattern made from the marks. Also known as PMD. (post mint damage)
