Lately I have been Picking up coins, that I might be able
to re-sell on ebay. I have been told that old PCGS green holders
are .. collectable.

Not sure these Ike's have a lot of eye appeal, I just thought
they are sort of interesting.

Does anyone know what years they made these holders?

Those are cool gr! I think that's the very first pcgs slab or one of the first so that would put them around 1986/87 I'd think. Very nice

I will have to move one of these to the core section of my collection.

So good chance these have been locked up in these slabs for
over 25 years. Almost like they have committed a capital crime.

25 years to life .......

Why collectible? Is it because PCGS sometimes undergraded? lol

I am partial to the toning on the 76-S. Are these holders about the same size as the older ANACS holders?

I just compared holders, these are just a little smaller than
the current PCGS holders.

Does anyone have a link that shows the different types, different
year holders?

I like the old green holders best of all. They're simple and straightforward - and don't have't all the flashy "pizazz" (neon colors, big lettering, pictures, holographic effects, etc) of the new holders that I personally dislike and find annoying - and feel distract from the coin.

Less holder and more coin!

The Doily holder is very desirable too. This was PCGS's first gen holder.
86-88?
