I vote for the snapping turtle or the moose. Probably way too late to influence the RCM but I still dream that they would use this theme for circulation coins and not only NCLT (which I'm sure they will but I won't be a client). wildflowerAB Pillar of the Community Canada 2845 Posts	Posted 09/17/2016 7:03 pm A brief synopsis of the 1967 series and how the series designed by Alex Coville was chosen: http://www.coinscan.com/des/1967d.html Even if, for whatever reason, it was deemed that the same set could not reissued for the 150th anniversary, it's unfortunate a different set of birds and animals were not chosen for their appropriate symbolic significance. Aboriginal totems are also filled with interesting imagery in the same way and it would have been an excellent opportunity for the Govt of Canada to celebrate the coming together of two different cultures.
