Having gotten a feel for these, and how they usually look VG, the details, surfaces and rims seem to show little circulation, plus an excellent strike from Hennings home made dies. Looking uniformly greyish the rims show bright and square, still showing ejection marks from the collar. No doubt pulled from circulation mid fifties, possibly by a mystified kid collector and stuck in an open hole in his Whitman! Enjoy.
Nice Henning you have there! You are right--that is by far the best Henning I have ever seen; probably as close to BU as one could expect, given that his dies were made from circulated coins.
