continuing my journey on giving a ballpark est. of my relative's collection, I was wondering if I should keep all the ike's together in a Littleton coin album? it is a decent album I guess but definitely not "air tight" in some places. all the coins are either uncirulated or choice proof according to the receipts he kept. (the grading scale they use(d) is fairly broad in the sense that two "unc 60" coins can look better or worse).

online prices for a complete set seem to be somewhere in the $200-500 dollar range depending the source. anyway, I think some of these ike's could grade pretty well. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice looking Ike set

Nothing wrong with the Littleton album, but not the
album most choose. I like Dansco with slip covers
the most. The Littleton albums in some cases increase
the chances of the coins to tone. Some like that, some
don't.

IMO, your set is closer to the $200 range than the $500.

When I look at a Ike set, I look at the 1971 and 1972
P and D coins. These in higher grades have good value.
I also look for super grades of any of the coins.
Also check the 1972 to see if it is a Type 2.

My collection is mostly geared toward albums, and Dansco
are my favorite. Others may like other albums or lean
towards Slabs or air-tite capsules.

There is no right answer.

Nice set.

Dansco albums seems to be the fan favorite on this forum.

Complete sets sell for just under $200 on ebay. there some buy it now prices for $199.99, $249.95 and $310 for BU 32 coin sets and those just sit. I never trust buy it now prices when I'm trying to figure out the real value of a coin online. Watching a few auction style listings is the best bet.

Nice set and I would agree with the others placing it in the $200 range.

I like this set. Please do not break up this set!

I see nothing wrong with the album. Just take care of it and keep it in good place: low humidity, stable temperature. It will do fine.
