I don't even want to describe what I'm seeing here, it's obvious these are counterfeits, most likely from that no-no website.

How do you go about reporting fake coins? Is it under the replica option or what?

And he's doing one of my pet peeves that I see all the time on ebay: putting his fingerprints all over these supposedly valuable coins!

1. He knows nothing about coin collecting.

2. He knows they are fake.

3. He doesn't care and just wants to move them.

Don't forget about the purposeful blurred pictures.

I am new to this Forum and agree to some extent. Yes the coins this guy has listed are blurry, and yes they do look like they have been cleaned. Yes, I must be cautious. But no, I am not going to pre judge. I think the guy does not know how to take photos or has a low quality camera. Rule is, the worse the photos, the less the item will sell for. He are the facts: He just sold an 1893CC Morgan for $250.93. Those photos were also blurry. He sold a near complete set of Mercury dimes for $232.50 also blurry photos. He also has a 100% feedback rating on ebay.

I'd pay $1 for each, just to be able to pop into coin book without blowing my budget.

I'd be willing to pay $2 each just to take the risk to find out if they are genuine. Any other bidders? lol

100% feedback means nothing.

You can sell these coins to ignorant buyers and they will give you a 100% feedback regardless.

Everybody wants something for nothing. That's the pitch here, and it always works.

I only said $2 because you said $1. If you said $25, I would probably say $50. That is what auctions are all about. Give the guy a break. I am an ebay seller as well and I would not appreciate people making accusations that don't even know me. Would you expect the same for yourself? If the photo is bad, don't jump to conclusions. Consider fair value when it is due and if you get a good deal, be happy with it. That is what coin collecting is all about.
