The price is right, but not worth that much in shipping, IMO.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-65-U...221?nav=LOSTI guess we can't win them all... got caught off guard at the last second and lost the auction by 50 cents. Lots of culls and nothing especially valuable, but some very nice later bronze issues for an average of 50 cents each.

Quote: I guess we can't win them all... got caught off guard at the last second and lost the auction by 50 cents. Not quite as bas as when I lost an ebay auction for a cheap 1931 S Lincoln Cent (for my dad, not myself) by 5 cents.

@TypeCoin: Ouch. Did you bid and lose, or notice that one after it was over?
I don't actually see the 1877 in that lot, but the rest of the dates are still pretty nice for the $15 paid.

The 1877 (note shallow N) is in the middle of the left column.
I put in a bid because I couldn't be watching the auction at the time it closed, and I found out that someone had sniped me with a bid all of $0.05 over mine.

Got back into the swing of things yesterday: http://www.ebay.com/itm/3125-FRANCE...8421?txnId=0Description (and price) lists that small worn coin as a reasonably worthless 1856 10 centimes. Except it's a Louis XIII 1643 double tournois. Catalogs at about $15-20 in FR/AG. Then this listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/WORLD-COINS...3215?txnId=0Maybe not as much of a slam dunk, but that counterstamped, revalued Brazilian 40 reis is pretty cool as a piece of world history. I will have to check once in hand... can't make out half of the more worn coins in that listing.
