Just wanted to let all the members know how nice a member has been to me. The other day I got an email out of the blue. It said that this person wanted to give me,free of any charge an ancient coin. They said I could pick one from their store on vcoins.com for $30-$40 range. I picked one out in no time but it was hard since there was six or seven that I liked. It came today and it looks even better in hand. I have been wanting a coin from the 3rd century and from Rome in silver for awhile now. I have been bidding on some from this person on ebay but my budget is small. This great CCF member is...Victor. His store on vcoins is: Victors Imperial Coins and on the bay it's victor_clark.
I recommend you at least check them out if not buy something,I am sure he will treat you as well as he has treated me.

I have been trying to research this coin. What is up with wildwind, can't get to load. I was wondering the following: what denomination is it compared to today's coins, cent nickel dime etc. What would it buy in it's day? Thanks for any help. If there is a link for this kind of info please post it.
