Coin has die cracks at three points also both ways off the corners of the foundation and from the top of the head!!

MS64. I think I see a couple of small hits on the obverse. The reverse almost has a lightly cleaned look, but I think that's from the angle of the pic.

I'll have to say that it is a MS63 that has been cleaned. There seems to be hairline scratches on the obverse and the angle of the rev pic it is hard to see if there is scratches there also.

well done , I think it is an MS-63 also that has been lightly cleaned, interestingly the hairlines are not visable without a little magnification, or in this case an enlargement by picture!!

I bought the coin knowing of the cleaning but the price was very right !!it will reside in my own collection so the cleaning although sad is not that big of a deal to me !!

Metalman, I have come back to this thread again and again to look at that coin. I can tell it was cleaned by your pics, but the sharpness on those rims is amazing, I think you could shave with that coin. My first thought was that it was an impaired proof, but with only about 10 known, that's not likely. Then I started looking for "copy" Thanks for sharing her
