I bought a set of uncirculated War Nickels and its looks like 3 out of the 6 checked are varieties and 5 more to check...

This is the second one found in that set it appears to be 1943-S War Nickel WDDO-001 & WRPM-001 S/S West. Might be wrong but something is going on.

Looks like Die Deterioration Doubling to me. Also hard to tell with pic if thats a split in the upper serif.
