I'm in at MS63. There seems to be enough remaining luster regardless of the mottling. FB on a 1945-P is near impossible. nice dime

Is that stuff on the bottom of the coin toning or some kind of environmental damage?

To me the discoloration appears to be from moisture. A result of improper storage. The coin may grade details for environmental damage

I think it's album toning. It may not have the greatest eye appeal of toning varieties but it shouldn't earn a detail grade.

The obverse is disgusting and so is the reverse. Looks like dried up blood on the bottom.. MS62
