What's going on with the damage in the area of EPU? The fields are raised over the damage. Struck through?

Looks like its clashed on both sides but the reverse damage your referring to looks to be PSD. Nice find.

I thought zinc cents can't have lamination errors. No glue. There is a depression in the area of interest. I posted the following coin a while ago which is similar to this one. I can't figure these out.

Second one looks like a lamination.

Looks like it was struck through foil that peeled off another planchet. So I'm thinking a struck through error. (foil)

Very nice find!
Excellent die clash.
As for the other issue, I'm not sure what it is but I have to agree with Coop about it being struck though. The shape of it matches the radius of another cent so I wonder if it could be struck though something that was shaved from the edge of another coin.

As in a strip of the very thin plating?

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought Coop was commenting on the second coin.
The second one looks like it was struck through something, I agree with that.

On the first coin it looks like Lincoln's head upside down underneath the stairs..thats why I mentioned clashed both sides..

It may apply to both. It look the struck through may have fallen off. Not a lot of interest in these. Just nice to know what caused it though.
