My FedEx smartpost tracking says my Kennedy C&C sets were delivered this afternoon but they are not in my box. What do I need to do? Thanks. Edited by machine20 09/23/2015 8:21 pm

Start knocking on neighbors doors. If that's a no joy go to the post office in the tomorrow and ask what's up or if you can, wait for your post man delivering tomorrow and ask him about a little box if you can

It's happened to me several times with USPS tracked mail and so far, knock on wood, the package has always shown up a couple of days later.

I agree with ChildOfTheWheat. I ordered some coins awhile back and it said delivered and there was no package. Luckily I still had time to go drive and catch the mailman and she was like oh yea I did see that it was a wrong address and was I was just going to deliver it tomorrow but since you're here...haha
I would maybe wait and talk to your mail person tomorrow and or contact Fedex and see what happened...

The other thing I just thought of, it may be the hand-off from FedEx to USPs that shows delivered?

It got to USPS a couple of days ago and says it was delivered today to the mailbox at my apartment. I put up a couple of signs at the mailboxes. Hopefully it will turn up.

Apartment you say... Then definatly at least go knock on the 2 doors whose mailboxes were on either side of yours. There's gotta be a good chance one of them got it

I've had USPS "fake" deliveries on Priority packages. It actually showed up the next day or 2. I think the mailman was slacking and had to keep his quota numbers up.
I had a shipment of coins that ANACS sent back by Fed Ex 3 day show up in town after 1 day according to the tracking. Day 2 the tracking showed it sat at the station. Day 3 delivery day the tracking said "Business closed, recipient not available" when we get shipments all day long. Someone at Fed Ex forgot to load the truck and the driver lied to cover his butt. Since we do a lot of business with Fed Ex at work I brought it up with our account rep and called them out. A few months later I got a call from some company that did customer satisfaction surveys regarding Fed Ex regarding a totally irrelevant to my coin issue claim we filed and one question was "How likely are you to recommend Fed Ex" and boy did I let them know I how I really felt about being scammed.

Time is of the essence.
YOU need to contact your USPS carrier that was working that delivery day ASAP and ask him/her where the package is. Did they leave it with your apartment manager or at the apartment office?

A lot of times larger packages are delivered to the apartment leasing office if they won't fit in your mailbox. Have you checked with them yet?

Mine have always shown as delivered when they made it to the mailbox, not the post office. However, it probably depends on when it is scanned and by whom, the carrier or someone else at the PO.

Posted signs at the mailbox hub last night to contact me if found. Went to the post office today and it wasn't there. They left a note for my post guy. Not optimistic.
