I happened to have this land in my possession the other day. Never seen any coin with this "issue" before and I tried to research it (for hours) but came up with nothing so far. Then a coin appraisal site led me here so here I am. I am looking/wanting/needing any opinions/thoughts/advice/schooling I can possibly get, and it's very much appreciated (very curious person by nature and not having an answer or an idea of one is maddening)
Thank you in advance for any replies.

It's not an error made by either mint machines or staff, but rather some neat-looking coin craft there someone punched out Susan B Anthony to create a nice looking "high relief" coin. These have been featured here before, I've seen some JFK halves displayed here

Cool type of Post Mint Damage (or PSD, whatever you fancy)! I concur that it is a 3D image thing that someone outside the mint made.

Wow, that's interesting. I said Ive never seen anything like that before, then after the first two replies I did a search based on the "3d coin" idea and quite a few came up! couldn't find a SBA one but still. Does something like this have any kind of value? I only ask because I couldnt find one to compare it to. And Thank you all very much for the insight and information. You really do learn something new and interesting every day if you really want to.

Hey mightymouse, contact "the penny lady" her website below this. She's well known in the Coin World and has a huge collection of these types of pop out coins. She should be able to tell you if an SBA is seen frequently or not. Either way I bet she'd like to see it. Shoot her an email http://www.thepennylady.com/And be sure to report back with what she said!

That's pretty creepy. It's like she's stepping right out of the coin.

Not worth much to a coin collector. Technically it is still worth a dollar. I think you might be able to get a few bucks for it as a novelty if someone was looking for it or wanted an item like this specifically.
