The book price is $3K for CH-CU but the most I've ever seen one garnish is $2K. I was able to find one years ago and never sought to upgrade it. I like it just fine in its mid-grade condition. Recent Star note pickups at the bank.  I pulled my star note envelope out to count how many star notes I have and total face value. This does not count any star note silver certificates I have. $50-1-$50 $20-17-$340 $10-5-$50 $5-13-$65 $2-4-$8 $1-40-$40 _____________ 80-$553 |

I have a soft spot for small-head $100 star notes. I got this for face from one of my brothers about 9 years ago. I know it would be a better ROI if deposited in any interest bearing account but where's the fun in that.  |
