Just picked these up from the bank. Another teller had multiple $50 star notes but I just couldn't afford to pick them up.

It was actually tough to get these but I have never had a $100 star note before, so I couldn't resists. I should be over $1000 in star notes now!

Yeah I know what you mean. Luckily the bank wasn't busy and I could think about it for a minute. But I figured, either sit in my account, or in my stash, either way, I would have it and if I had to spend it, I could.

Luckily, it's only me here so I have what I need to get by.

Right. Not like you can earn anything on it in the bank anyway!

Very nice 35F Ace CK, love the grade.

This next story might be the strangest thing you read all day.

In September 1970 the BEP started printing series 1969A $1 FRN's. After printing 1.7M 1969A Philadelphia Star notes, serial numbers C03360001* through C05120000* the BEP determined it need additional 1969 Philadelphia star notes. So a late printing of 416K 1969 Philadelphia stars were printed, serial numbers C05120001* through C05753000*

This 1969 $1 Philly star has a higher serial number than all of the 1969A Philly star notes. Strange

CK - Beautiful example!

Steve - As Johnny Carson used to say, I did not know that.

Thanks, all. It's my first graded SC star and I'm pretty happy with it.
