jimbucks - Don't cringe when you see CGA notes. It all depends on what you paid for the note. Even 1st generation notes will often re-grade at levels that more than justify the original purchase price. For current generation Diamond/OPQ notes this is particularly true, with straight-up exchanges with PMG quite common.

Quote: Another over the weekend auction buys. I'm not sure if they have any value but they are as crisp as the day they left the mint. Nice group!

Quote: It's 1993, Bill Clinton is President and Aerosmith's Livin' on the Edge is blasting on your radio. The BEP is hitting on all cylinders with the WCF helping keep pace. Series 1993 one dollar notes are being printed as early as April 1994 and the duties are split between DC and FW. Eleven districts are printed, no Kansas City aces, and only five districts have replacement notes printed. This is a set of $1 stars for 1993, with Philadelphia being the key star note with only 640K printed. Excellent!

What's your guess...the autographs were made on an AU note, OR the UNC note was autographed and then folded ?
