Five districts had replacement notes printed for series 1993 $1 FRNs, with Philadelphia being the key star. The 1993 $1 Minneapolis I-A block is another tough find for this series.

Beautiful note. Do you have all the others?

Quote: Do you have all the others? In June of 2016 I completed my collection of every star note from every series and district for every small-size $1 FRN in CH-CU....and it continues to this day. My first love.

Good heavens. How many different ones in the set to date?

Quote: How many different ones in the set to date? Don't know, but I just added up all the $1 FRNs from 1963 to current and the total is $1,089 at face, not counting sheets or packs of 100.

Are they all in TPG holders? When did you first get hooked on stars?

No, definitely not. Approximately 90% are raw. I started in 2008. The 2017 replacement notes...so far.

Looking sharp! Can anyone direct me how you all get the note picture in a rectangular frame?

I'm guessing they were just cropped on a scanner with a black background?

Steve - It sure is. I finally ended up using a strip of painter's tape on the back to keep them aligned.

That's quite the set of 2017 replacements! Still looking for my first 2017 star. Do you purchase your raw notes from ebay or elsewhere?
