Does this count as a star note? It looks like someone took a star hole punch to it. The serial number ends in a letter and I used the nickel so the bill would lay flat as it is in circulated condition.

Today I got my first 2017 star note.

It is a 20.

It is from a run of 320,000 all sheet notes.

According to star note lookup.

It is circulated so should I just spend it or no?

I do not like having 2017 series bills on me.

This arrived today. I got it at face from a fellow CCF member by merely asking. I couldn't be happier about the entire transaction.

Got this 2017 star note in my change today. Atlanta district, printed in Fort Worth, Texas. Worth saving? And what is its production run? This bill does have some handling to it, but I believe this note grades at about XF. I am not really a currency collector, but I do save a bill that catches my eye from time to time.

The serial number is close to being the address of the US Treasury Building pictured on the back of the note.

What an esoteric observation.

I'd definitely keep that one. May not be worth much over face but the SN is really cool.
