Tough call from these images but AU58 would be my guess.

with this one it's gonna be all about the luster. With better luster this could be a slider as its an O mint coin. But as is it looks to have most of the luster muted so I'm at mid to high au as well. And what's that black mark? A stain, or perhaps it got hit with a sharpie smudge?

AU-55. This is a good example of immediately seeing the black marks on this dollar before your eyes see anything else. For myself, I never buy a coin in any grade that has a distraction that is so pronounced that it's the first thing I see.

Yours appears to be AU.
There are literally "jillions" of 1879-O Morgans out in coin land that are AU and in near-miss "unc" for some weird reason. (You also see the same thing with the much scarcer 1884-S.)
It almost looks like they deliberately placed the coins in circulation for a couple of weeks and then started gathering them back in. I vaguely remember that bags of lightly circulated solid date Morgans appeared in the Treasury Hoards that were released in the early 1960's, too. This was around the time that once "rare" "O" mint Morgan's of 1898 through 1904 flooded the market and drove prices down. Your coin probably came out of one of those lightly circulated bags of Morgans.
(Aahhh..."the good old days"!)

AU details, cleaned, poorly retoned, and negative eye appeal.
Unless you're desperate for a 1879-O Morgan and the coin is silly cheap, I'd keep browsing.

AU58 I like it. The dark streaks prove originality.
