kbbpll Pillar of the Community United States 4233 Posts	Posted 10/06/2015 09:43 am There seems to be a very symmetrical indentation on the obv rim between L and E that is centered above the date, so that made me think the coin was centered in something. The blobs on the reverse look like solder to me. So then I thought, maybe the rim damage is from trying to pry it out of something. That's about the extent of my thought process; I don't really know anything about what to look for. Report this Post to the Staff

Hmmm whatever it is --the tips of the grips in the holder do show --I did crudely photo crop it in a way--just a note. But coin seems very nice over all and most wreaths have so many different issues and problems. I'm just not paying a premium $32K and not $15K ether or even $7K. Coin has a lot of clear nice detail as EFDet Non porous for the most part a strong strike nice color. There are VG dets coins that are pricing $5K. I think with so much detail like it shows in a holder it was a good deal. Report this Post to the Staff
