Hey all! I like to do CRHing when I have the time, and I'm getting $1000 in Kennedy's on Thursday and was wondering besides silver and NIFC what else to look for?

I started out looking for the 73, 74, and 77 DDO. In my opinion, the 74 is the easiest to find. As mentioned before, If you have the time and patience look for the no "FG" and rotated Reverse. You can also keep your eye out for the occasional clipped coin. Good luck.

Probably a stupid question but does the CherryPickers Guide version 6 cover from pennies to dollar coins?

The CPG is broken down into two volumes, volume 1 is Cents-Five Cents and volume 2 is Dimes-Double Eagles.

1. Silver: 1964 (90% silver), and 1965-1970 40%. 2. NIFC: Following 2000 JFKs were not intended for circulation (NIFC), but the mint did dump some 2001s into circulation. The others dates can be found. From 2002 and on these all have low mintages. 3. Everything else: Compiled from sold ebay (legitimate) items, other websites, and publications. RPM= Repunched MM DDO = Doubled Die OBV No FG = No designers initials on REV - note some only are missing the F - I was picky - there could be no trace of them. Too many on ebay you can clearly the FG is barely there in the pics. Clashed Die - I looked for what I called a rhino horn sticking up off JFKs nose which is actually from the leaves on the REV. RD = Rotated Die There are likely more that are out there to be found that could fill more places on this chart. Method:Used a sheet of thick glass while dumping the roll out since a " Magician's coin" gives a dull thud when hitting the glass. Silver also sounds different on the glass. I sorted each of the above dates from the rolls and stacked them until I got done with all the rolls. Then it was magnifying glass time. After awhile I started throwing back the 71 DDOs because there are a LOT of them with varying degrees of doubling. Hope all this info helps. Former teacher in me peeked out again
