1st the good news it a rare type Freeman 139 trident 2mm from the P and no sea behind Britannia.
VF £30
EF £200

I would pitch this slightly nearer to EF.

I didn't know about that variety, but, unfortunately, I don't think my coin is it. It looks more like the 1 mm with high sea; notice the sea intersecting the lower part of the robe. However, I don't know about this series and would, of course, like to believe I have the more valuable variety. Anyone else?

Hi guys,

Firstly, this is a 1mm trident from P in penny, sorry.
But I'd go for gEF, no problems. I think it's the patina that is making it look how it is, not the wear. A couple of carbon spots both sides but nothing major, and a nice little die crack @ 12 o'clock on the reverse.

A nice little coin all in all!
