hi all I dont do much in the way of currency. but got this at the bank yesterday for face. but how did I do. bill has three folds. thanks

I don't think there is much of a premium over face in the condition it's in. It's always nice picking up the older bills from circulation though.

Looks like a 3-fold XF, which might bring a very small premium if you were selling it - the problem would be finding a buyer, since the note can be bought in gem CU for not much more than $200.

I'm thinking most banks send these off to be destroyed....If you can afford to keep it, please do!!

Put it on ebay for $115-120 so you don't lose money and it goes to someone who will appreciate it.

By the time you pay e-Bay fees, it's not worth the effort.

To give you an idea of how common this note is, here is a choice/gem CU '50B STAR which I paid around $260 for recently.

I would spend yours, personally.

Yes, but that $100 will buy you less and less as the years go on due to inflation...

i will keep it until the next coin show and if I can get 115-120 it will be gone.
