#1168875 I have taken multiple photos to try and accentuate any blemishes on this NNC slabbed coin. The coin looks MUCH better than the photos shown. (I spent about 4 hours trying to get good photos for just this coin, glare on the slab is my challenge) What grade would you suggest this coin to be and why? Thanks!

Knowing it's in an NNC slab there's always a chance it's really an AU coin. That said it appears to a MS63 in the pics with a shot at 64. The milk spots detract from the eye appeal but it's still a decent looking common date.

MS-64. Just for fun, I think NNC gave it an MS-67

MS64 assuming the line through the tiara is on the holder.

"line through the tiara" Boy I had to look at the photo I posted as the lines are all but invisible to the eye. There is a line on the curl of hair above the tiara... This was graded NNC MS-67

The coin has nice luster MS 64. The MS Peace dollars with strong luster are difficult to photograph and have the image show as the coin looks in hand. You did a good job for your first coin photo. A MS 64 Peace dollar in a PCGS or NGC slab sells for $45 to $50. This coin does not have the value to be graded and you would be money ahead selling the coin in the current slab. My guess is that your coin would sell for around $30 on ebay and a dealer will give you less. If the coin was really a MS67, the value would be around 5K.

MS63, too baggy for a 64. Low eye appeal. May have been dipped, look at the white haze all over the reverse.

Take it out of the slab. MS-64 from the pics, IMHO

NNC is probably the only slab in the industry that LOWERS a coin's value by being inside their holder.
