Figured I should register, this looks like a great community! I've been into coins for a while, and would hang on to "interesting" coins as a kid, stuff like bicentennial quarters, half dollars, two dollar bills, etc. Most of the stuff I had ended up being spent when things were tight... None of it was worth more than face value anyway. I did save a few silver dimes I found in my change though. My collecting was recently revived when a trip to a flea market with my father-in-law (an avid collector) yielded two IHC's for $1. My father-in-law also gave me a few more IHC's, and a bunch of wheaties. Subsequent trips to a local dealer have yielded some more silver, mostly good to fine condition (low budget). My focus right now is silver dimes, going for a modest collection of Barbers, winged/Mercury, and roosevelts. The winged liberties are my favorite. Right now I'm just going for one from each year with no regard for mint to keep things easy and inexpensive. Looking forward to making friends and learning more about coins... You seem to have the hang of it. Welcome to the community. Nice to see you've been bitten by the coin collecting club. Lots to learn and you seem to collect decent grade level with no issues.
