The doubling on In God We Trust is pretty profound. You can also see some doubling on Liberty and Quarter. Is it from Machine Doubling?

Looks like Die Deterioration Doubling. Not worth any more than face value. Still pretty strong though.

die fatigue When I first starting roll searching a few years ago, I thought this type of doubling was something to, until I was educated here and had noticed that it is more common than we think it is, especially the modem coins, they work these dies way to hard. I still struggle with less obvious forms of undesired doubling, if you have a copy of " CherryPickers' Guide" turn to Appendix A and take a look at all the different forms of doubling, you will learn a great deal from it. Or just google search the topic "Other Forms of Doubling" Ken Potter has a cool page dedicated to understanding the different types and how they occur in the minting process.

The extreme die wear shows on the sides of the devices closest to the rims. (If the images were taken horizontal, I would add them to my files. rotating them makes part of the design disappear)

I made two different types of images. One for die flow and the others for Die Deterioration:
