Hello! Looking for some help in possibly identifying this coin. It is very small! Looks to be copper or bronze? I am very new at collecting ancient coins. It is difficult to make much out on this one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I can't make out the emperor's name, but my guess would be an Arcadius or Honorius similar to this coin on VCoins:

What you have is an AE4 (smallest of the bronze coins) of the Constantine dynasty or maybe a little later. The legend is worn/broken off, so all you have to go on is the portrait. This website may help somewhat:

Reverse I am pretty sure is the "Two soldiers with military standard" type, or GLORIA EXERCITVS.

Trust me, this would be a LOT easier with even a few letters of the legend. Good luck.

Clearly early 5th century.

This particular reverse type was only minted by Honorius and Theodosius II (they are the emperors depicted on the reverse)

The reverse type (legend) is GLORIA ROMANORVM depicting these two emperors standing and facing each other, both holding a spear and both holding a shield which is resting on the ground

Hard to find in good condition as the quality of coins produced in this period was rapidly deteriorating.

Hard to pinpoint the mint but here is an example of each
